How did I make IP68 waterproof junction box !

Why do I need this?

I needed to make architectural lighting in my garden. I bought architectural fixtures but the fixtures had a small body and I could not make an electrical connection inside the lamp body. I decided to make a connection between the lamp and the cable in the IP44 junction box, then pour a special two-component compound inside the box and bury the boxes in the ground.

I bought IP44 junction boxes and a special electrotechnical two-component silicone compound in advance. I chose the «Prosil» two-component removable compound, it is no worse than Eteleс MP Gel compaund and 3m Scotchcast compaund.

I connected the wires and filled the junction box with a two-part silicone compound. IP44 junction box developed into IP68 junction box. It was quick and easy for me. I think everyone can do that.
